Essential Functions
Organizing merchandise and loading and unloading shipments.
Deliver materials to Job-sites on an as needed basis (may require travel of 2-3 days)
Perform Basic Preventive Maintenance on Trucks, Trailers, Equipment, and Grounds.
Welding/fabrication experience
Responsible for cleaning, organizing and maintaining the warehouse.
Inventory all tools and equipment supplied to employee and crews
Care of vehicles, cleaning them regularly and driving them responsibly
Follow all safety guidelines identified in company safety manual
Perform all job tasks to manufacturer’s standards
Perform all work safely and efficiently/always utilize correct PPE
Learn basic knot tying and safe rigging principles required to load material on trailers
Personal Attributes
Ability to read and Understand make-ready drawings and sheets
Work Environment
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively
Work in adverse weather conditions
Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility
Required Knowledge
Must have valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification. CDL Class A certification a plus
Must be able to pass a background check/MVR/drug screen for government security clearances
Must have complete knowledge on use and care of basic hand and power tools
Job Related Certification
Certified in fork-lift and skid steer operations
